CCTV appeal after fighting at York pub

POLICE investigating reports of fighting in a York city pub have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace.

North Yorkshire Police said a fight involving several men took place inside the Three Cranes pub in St Sampson's Square just after 11.30pm on Saturday February 4.

Pub staff ejected a number of men from the pub during the incident.

Shortly after midnight, a further incident of violence took place outside the pub. Police attended and several men were arrested and have been bailed pending further enquiries.

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured on CCTV as he may have important information that could assist the investigation.

He is described as having a shaven head and was wearing a long-sleeved beige or white coloured top at the time.
