CCTV image issued over Hull taxi driver assault
POLICE have issued a CCTV of a man they want to speak in connection with an assault on a Hull taxi driver which left him with serious injuries
The attack took place just before midnight on June 9.
A Hull taxi driver was assaulted in his car by a passenger who attacked him from behind and demanded money from him. The driver was attacked with a knife and suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The passenger was picked up on Devon Street in Hull and was driven to Huntingdon Street as it turns into Monmouth Street where the assault took place. The suspect got out of the car and ran off down the ten foot following the assault.
Anyone who can identify the man in the CCTV image should contact Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 2193566.
