Drugs stolen in raid on pharmacy

Police said Weldricks pharmacy in Grange Lane at Rossington, Doncasxter, was broken into in the early hours yesterday (Mon Feb 21) and a quantity of various controlled drugs were stolen.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have been offered controlled substances or who may hold information about those responsible for the burglary.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Officers also want to urge the public not to take any medication that has not been prescribed to them, as it could place your health at serious risk if you take unknown substances at unknown strength and in non-regulated quantities."
