Escaped Doncaster prisoner 'could use violence' to avoid arrest

Ricky-Lee Langford, 30, was reported missing from HMP Hatfield, in Thorne Road, on Friday December 30.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "It is believed that Langford will seek to avoid arrest and could use violence, therefore if he is seen we would advise you not to approach him and to contact police."

Langford is serving a seven -year sentence in relation to two robberies in 2011. He is originally from Maltby and is known to frequent Maltby, Doncaster and Thurcroft.

Numerous enquiries have already been carried out since Langford absconded and police want anyone with information as to his whereabouts to contact them.
