Further appeal to trace witnesses to pub car park assault

Detectives investigating a fight that left a 32-year-old man with a serious head injury have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to.

The victim remains in Hull Royal Infirmary in a stable condition after the fight in the car park of the Queensway pub on Ashby Road, Scunthorpe, at around 12.30am on Sunday.

Police want the man pictured in an orange top to contact them.

An earlier appeal to trace two men and a woman, who Humberside Police believe are key witnesses to the incident, has been withdrawn after police spoke to them.

The man in the orange top or anyone who can identify him are urged to call 101 quoting log 36 of 24 July 16 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
