Halifax men charged with wounding and firearms offences

Two men have been charged with wounding with intent and firearms offences following an incident in Halifax on Friday afternoon.

At 3.45pm on February 24, police were called to an incident in the Spring Hall Lane area of Halifax to reports of shots fired.

Four people suffered minor injuries.

Hamza Iqbal, aged 21, and Kyle Haughey, aged 18, both from Halifax, were charged with section 18 wounding with intent and firearms offences.

They appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court this morning and both remanded in custody to appear at Bradford Crown Court at a later date.
