Man, 42, assaulted in robbery on busy Hull avenue

A man has been punched and robbed on a busy street in Hull.

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses after the victim, 42, was asked for money by a man known to him outside the Premier Store in Princes Avenue yesterday at around 5.15pm.

The victim was then punched to the floor, before the suspect, a slim white man in his 40s, stole his wallet and fled towards Spring Bank.

The suspect was around 5ft tall with short blonde hair. He was wearing blue shorts and possibly a white t-shirt.
