Murder detectives make two more arrests after man killed in Hull

Detectives have made two more arrests as an investigation continues into the murder of a 35-year-old man in Hull.

Steven John Cawthorne died at Hull Royal Infirmary on Wednesday night.

He had been found seriously injured by police officers called to reports of a disturbance on Leonard Street at around 3pm.

A Humberside Police spokesman said: "Three people are now in police custody and house to house enquiries are progressing in the Leonard Street area of Hull today.

"There is no reason to believe that the incident was racially motivated or that there is any danger to the wider public.

"As our enquiries continue and patrols remain active in the Leonard Street area to reassure the local community, we would urge anyone with information to call us."
