Second arrest made after petrol bomb thrown at house in Hull while woman and children inside

A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Hull while a woman and children were inside.

Humberside Police issued a CCTV image yesterday as they appealed for information about the arson attack in Exeter Grove on Monday.

Now one man has been charged and a second is being held in police custody.

A police spokesman said: "Following the appeal, police have arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of arson and he is in police custody.

"We would like to thank the public and media for their support with this investigation."

A 44-year-old man was Hull has been charged with arson and was due to appear at Hull Magistrates' Court today.
