One of the males snatched the phone from the boy’s hand, while the others pushed the girl over and picked up her phone.

Two of the males are described as Asian, of medium build and are believed to be between 16 and 18 years old.

One was wearing a navy blue hooded top with the hood up. He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms with a stripe down one leg.

The other Asian male was wearing a black hooded top and also had his hood up.

The third male is described as white and pale skinned with brown eyes.

He was also of medium build and was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up.

Investigating officer PC Emma Lumb, of the Bradford East Area Neighbourhood Team, said: “The victims had just walked through Peel Park when they were approached, so it is possible the males may also have been in the park in the minutes leading up to this.”

Enquiries are continuing into this incident and anyone with information is asked to contact PC 102 Lumb on 101, quoting crime reference 13160259313 or 13160259314, or to ring the independent charity Crimestoppers, who can be contacted anonymously, on 0800 555111.
