Police have released images of men they would like to speak to in connection with an attack on a woman who was threatened with a knife as she got into her car.

The incident happened at about 6.50pm on Thursday, June 16, just after a woman had got into her red VW Golf in Harrogate Road in Eccleshilll Road, Bradford.

Four men then entered the vehicle, one with a knife, while another opened the driver’s door and demanded she handed over her keys.

The woman refused and was punched and kicked by her attackers, who ran off with the victim’s handbag.

Detective Inspector Paula Bickerdike of Bradford District CID, who is investigating the incident, said: “Although the woman was not seriously hurt, this was an upsetting and traumatic experience for her and it is vital we find these men.

“This incident happened close to a busy parade of shops in broad daylight and we know there were other people in the area at the time.

“We would urge them to come forward and tell us what they saw.

“One man has been arrested and bailed in connection with our enquiries, but we would urge anyone who might recognise these males to contact PC 4685 Moran at Bradford District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 13160257737.

“Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
