Woman found seriously injured on Bradford road

Police are investigating after a woman was found collapsed on a road in Bradford with serious injuries.

Ambulance crews and police were called to the junction of Water Lane and Paradise Street in Bradford yesterday morning.

They found a woman in her 30s with serious injuries to her head and legs.

She was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary where she received urgent medical treatment. She remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Three arrests have been made in connection with the incident. All three have been bailed pending further enquiries. 

Detective Inspector Matthew Walker, of Bradford CID, said: "We are appealing for information about this incident which has left a woman with very serious injuries. 

"In particular, we are hoping to speak to the driver of a red transit-style van which stopped near to the scene, as he may have vital information about this incident to assist with our enquiries."
