Delph and Naughton earn Pearce plaudits
STUART PEARCE believes the nerveless manner in which Fabian Delph and Kyle Naughton settled into England Under-21 duty offers huge encouragement for the future.

The Yorkshire teenagers were both handed their Three Lions bow on Tuesday night when the Czech Republic were beaten 2-0 in a friendly international at Bramall Lane.
Sheffield United full back Naughton spent a little under half an hour on the field after coming off the bench, while Delph was restricted to a cameo appearance in the final four minutes.
The Leeds United midfielder has lit up League One this season and only joined up with the Three Lions squad on Monday night after being an unused substitute in the Elland Road club's FA Cup thrashing of Northampton Town.
Under 21s manager Pearce said: "The two lads have fitted in pretty well. Obviously, Delphy didn't meet up with us until pretty late on Monday night due to club commitments.
"Sometimes, when players come on the pitch you can tell if they are nervous at this level but the likes of Delph and Naughton showed no nerves and they actually gave us a lift. That is always pleasing for a manager.
"Kyle is doing good things for Sheffield and I was not surprised by the crowd's reaction. He looks like a player with a bright future, as does Fabian.
"I am sure if they keep listening to their managers and coaches then they will have a bright future."
