Pupils’ exam success stories eagerly awaited

Have your say

WITH exam results day now just two months away The Yorkshire Post is planning its coverage for our GCSE and A-level supplements.

Letters are being emailed out to schools across the county inviting them to send in their results and success stories if they want to be included.

The paper will be carrying results from across the county on both Friday August 15 for A-levels and Friday August 22 for GCSEs as well as carrying results and stories on the yorkshirepost.co.uk website.

If any school wants to be involved and is yet to receive the letter they can contact The Yorkshire Post’s Education Correspondent John Roberts on 0113 2388344 on email at john.roberts@ypn.co.uk or by post: John Roberts, Education Correspondent. The Yorkshire Post. No1 Leeds. 26 Whitehall Road, Leeds, West Yorkshire. LS12 1BE.

The paper will carry an overview of results from across the county, the reaction of teachers and politicians as well as many of the best individual student success stories as we can find.

There will also be a school-by-school breakdown of the results.

With GCSEs we include the first name initial and surname of each students and the number of GCSEs they achieve along with the number of subjects in which they are graded C and above.

For A-levels we will list each subject students achieve a pass in, and will also highlight each subject in which a candidate earns an A or an A*. We will not be carrying AS results.
