The Woolly Sheep at Skipton was crowned Yorkshire’s Favourite Pub at this year’s show.
The coveted prize, run by Welcome to Yorkshire and The Yorkshire Post, was keenly contested, with hundreds of nominations coming in from across the county.
However, the Skipton watering hole, which finished second in last year’s event, came out on top after two rounds of public voting.
Emmerdale actress and Dancing on Ice star Gaynor Faye presented the pub’s landlord and landlady, Andrew and Andrea Goodall, with the prize.
Mr Goodall told The Yorkshire Post: “We are really lucky to have the support of a fantastic team here.
“They are quite simply the best team around in the world. The secret is just a lot of hard work, making sure we offer the best service, the best beer and the best food possible.
“It feels absolutely amazing to win, especially after finishing second last year. A massive thankyou to everyone who voted.”
The award was presented by Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Gary Verity, who had arrived in the morning from France.
Faye paid tribute to his work in bringing the Tour de France to the region, saying: “I, along with the rest of the region, was very proud to be from Yorkshire.”
Mr Verity paid tribute to the professionalism of Yorkshire’s pub trade.
