THE family of missing Grimsby businessman Michael Lee have made a direct appeal to him to get in touch two years after his disappearance.
His brother John Lee said the family were in “complete limbo” and needed answers.
The 75-year-old made his last phone call on Monday March 7 2011 to cancel a hair appointment and the newspapers. He was reported missing on March 16.
He has not been seen or heard of since.
Police think the keen golfer, described as a very private man with a lot of close friends, took his blue Mercedes C220.
Brother John Lee said not a day went past without them thinking of him. Mr Lee said: “I am again making the same appeal as I did last year.
“Michael if you see this, please make contact with somebody friends, family, the police, anyone just to let us know that you are safe, and anyone who might know where Michael is then let the police know.
“We have now had two years as a family without any contact from Michael and it gets harder everyday wondering what might have happened to him and if he is safe. “There is not a day goes by when we don’t think about him.
“The family are all in complete limbo, this really is out of character for Michael and we don’t know why he would want to leave his life in Grimsby with all his friends and family.
“We would like some answers so please anyone who may have seen Michael and think they know where he is call the police.
“No matter how big or small that bit of information might be, then just tell police it could lead us to find out where he is and help us to put our minds at rest.” Anyone who can help is asked to call 101.
