A DiSGRACED former police officer has been warned he could face jail after admitting to sexually assaulting women while he was serving in the force.

Lee Kershaw, 37, pleaded guilty to four offences of sexual assault and four of misconduct in public office, which occurred between 2007 and 2008.

Kershaw was warned by Recorder Jonathan Carroll at Sheffield Crown Court that custody was at “the forefront” of his mind. The offences, in relation to three women, were committed when he was with Humberside Police.

Kershaw was bailed and will be sentenced on Wednesday, August 27.
