A murdered politician accidentally captured his killer in a photograph just as he was about to be shot.
Philippines councillor Reynaldo Dagsa was taking a picture of his family outside their house in Manila when he was gunned down on New Year's Eve.
The photo revealed a man aiming a gun from behind the smiling family, his wife, daughter and mother-in-law.
The gunman is bracing himself against a car and pointing his gun at Mr Dagsa. His face is slightly obscured by the gun. The car was parked in an alley outside the Dagsas' house. The family gave police the photo and a man identified as the gunman was arrested on Monday.
An accomplice seen in the photograph was also arrested. Police said the main suspect was a car thief whose arrest was ordered by Mr Dagsa.
