Halt needless tooth decay

Have your say

AS a retired dental practitioner I believe in Dr Beal’s argument that fluoridation is the best and most cost-effective way of dealing with rampant decay in many areas of the UK (The Yorkshire Post, April 9).

I have had experience of many children requiring needless general anaesthetics and I agree with Dr Beal that fluoridation is the way forward.

WHILE OUT cycling the other day, it started raining, enough to cause wide flooding from Ilkley to Otley. This has been going on there for years now so why don’t experts do their job and get it put right?
