Health Matters: Body image is affecting lives

New figures reveal more than one in three women in Yorkshire cancel social appointments because of a "negative body image".

Yorkshire employers lose an estimated 2,323 every year due to negative body image. The figures from a study of more than 1,000 women, carried out of behalf of Tesco and released to invite participation in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life give a startling insight into behaviour caused by low

self-esteem.

Results also show more than one in three women are so embarrassed by their true dress size that they buy the wrong size.
