FROM melting clocks to lobster telephones visitors to Nunnington Hall, near York, will get a taste of the surreal from today.

In collaboration with Fairhead Fine Arts Ltd, the hall will play host to an exhibition of works by surrealist master Salvador Dali, right, for the next month. The display will include works such as Cosmic Rhino, a bronze sculpture with the iconic stretched legs motif for which Dali is famous, and the print Helen of Troy.

Nunnington Hall property operations manager Clare Fletcher, shown admiring Cosmic Rhino, said: “We are very excited to host such a wonderful exhibition of work in collaboration with Fairhead Fine Arts and we are sure our visitors will enjoy this stunning collection of sculpture, prints and photographs.” picture: Gary Longbottom
