A TEAM headed up by Harrogate-based Karl Pampus has completed the management buy-in of Victory Graphics.
Having headed up Kodak’s printing plate operations throughout Europe as well as manufacturing plants throughout the world, the firm said Mr Pampus brings “significant industry expertise” to Victory Graphics.
Victory Graphics, which is based in Slough and employs seven people, is a provider of technical services to the printing industry.
It said that the transaction sees it “ideally placed to build on its already strong market position”.
The transaction was initiated by Mark Eardley, who is also based in Harrogate, of Langcliffe Merger Connect, and Harrogate-based Raworths LLP provided legal advice to the management team.
Mr Pampus declined to disclose the financial details of the deal or the company, but said: “The business is stable and we want to grow and expand it. There are a number of areas we are thinking about but it is too early to say in which directions.”
He said he can carry out customer-facing work from Harrogate as the majority of Victory Graphics’ customers are based in the North.
The previous owner of Victory Graphics, prior to the buy-in, was Steve Behan.
Raworths’ head of corporate, Simon Morris, said that the deal was “indicative of an increasing trend that sees Harrogate as a fertile environment for bringing together entrepreneurs, corporate financiers and professional advisers to work on transactions throughout the UK and beyond”.
Victory Graphics’ history dates back to the 1990s, but was established under its current name in 2006.
