He added: “West Yorkshire Police and Highways England will be monitoring the festival routes and working alongside Festival Republic to keep festival-goers and other road users informed.”

Campsites open at Bramham Park at 2pm on Wednesday for early bird ticket holders.

The peak periods for festival traffic are expected to be 11am to 6pm on Wednesday, 8am to 4pm on Thursday and then 10am to 1pm daily from Friday to Sunday.
