Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah

Leader of London's notorious Thug Fam gang.

Claimed he was the "General" of over 80 gang members.

Street name Pesci or P – after his hero Joe Pesci who plays psychopathic killer in movie Goodfellas.

Serving life with 35 years minimum for murder of Pc Beshenivsky, robbery and firearms offences.

June 2007: Sentenced to nine years for 2004 firearms offences involving police chase. He was on the run at the time of the Bradford robbery.

March 2008: Sentenced to four years for wounding with intent after stabbing another inmate at Frankland Prison, Co. Durham during life sentence.

Yusuf Jama

Somalian, brother of Mustaf Jama and member of Thug Fam gang.

Convicted of theft, public order and drug offences between 2002 to 2005.

Serving life with 35 years minimum for murder of Pc Beshenivsky, robbery and firearms offences.

December 2007: Sentenced to 12 years for conspiracy to rape in Birmingham, committed on run within days of Bradford shooting. Among nine-man gang who repeatedly raped a woman at a house party.

March 2008: Sentenced to four years for wounding with intent after he and Shah stabbed another inmate at Frankland Prison, Co Durham.

Faisal Razzaq

Friend of Shah.

Previous convictions for robbery and false imprisonment.

Even though on run from police in 2005 worked as client manager for Caradon, owners of house in Harehills Lane, Leeds, where the robbers gathered and some partied hours before the raid.

Drove lead car in convoy to Bradford and acted as lookout.

Serving life with a minimum of 11 years for the manslaughter of Pc Beshenivsky, robbery and firearms offences.

June 2007: Sentenced to seven and a half years for possessing prohibited firearms in 2004, for which he was wanted in 2005.

Hassan Razzaq

Brother of Faisal.

Convicted of robbery, fraud and drug offences between 1999 to 2002.

Acted as lookout while robbery took place at Universal Express, Bradford.

Serving 20 years for manslaughter of Pc Beshenivsky, robbery and firearms offences.

Raza Ul-Haq Aslam

Previous convictions for assault, attempted deception and obstructing police.

Worked for Caradon and was living in Halifax at time of shooting.

Serving eight years for robbery at Universal Express when he acted as a lookout.
