Man has car stolen in Rotherham street

A man was pushed over in the street and had his car key stolen by another man who then made off with his car in Rotherham.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened in Winterhill Road at around 8pm on Tuesday, January 10.

The driver had stopped in the street to make a delivery before he was approached by the suspect.

After the attack, the perpetrator drove off in the direction of Kimberworth in the stolen car - a blue Peugeot 307 with the registration PX56 OES.

Witnesses are asked to call South Yorkshire Police via 101 quoting incident number 943 of January 10.
