A MAN has been taken to hospital after a hit and run in Woodhouse this morning (Sunday).

Police are appealing for witnesses after the man was knocked down by on Woodhouse Street at around 11.20am.

Insp Carlton Young of West Yorkshire Police said: “A male has been knocked down by a vehicle that has made off from the scene.

“He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious.”

Police believe the car was a silver Audi A3.
Any witnesses are asked to contact police on 101.
