THIEVES in a West Yorkshire town robbed a man in broad daylight while he had an epileptic seizure.

The incident happened in Dewsbury town centre last Wednesday. The 51-year-old man was walking past Argos on the Princess of Wales precinct, when he suffered a fit.

When he came to shortly afterwards, he discovered his two plain coloured shopping bags, containing groceries and some stationery, had been stolen.

The theft is being investigated by Dewsbury and Mirfield police, who are appealing for witnesses.

The man had earlier been on Church Street and Westgate but CCTV in the area has not captured the crime taking place or revealed any possible suspects.
