British history going back one million years is going on display in an exhibition featuring life-size models of men and creatures of the distant past.
Unearthed objects that have never been seen in public will be on show when the exhibition One Million Years Of The Human Story opens at the Natural History Museum in London.
Lasting from February 13 to September 28, the exhibition will feature life-size models of Neanderthal man as well as giant deer and huge rhinos from prehistoric times.
Other exhibitions in 2014 include one on the world of the Vikings ,which will run from March 6 to June 22 at the British Museum.
