Fit-out contractor Morris & Spottiswood saw its revenue climb seven per cent to £74.4m in 2014.
The firm, which has offices in Leeds, Warrington, Glasgow and Edinburgh, said it had benefited from a bounce back in the construction industry. Its workforce grew by 40 employees, including six apprentices, bringing headcount to 400.
Managing director Jon Dunwell said the firm plans to take on more staff to meet its 2015 targets.
He said: “We are confident growth will continue and we are looking to increase our sales in the North of England to around £35m from their present level of £19.5m. A significant amount of this has already been secured.”
The company will focus on its fit-out and mechanical and engineering divisions in the coming year, Mr Dunwell added.
