MP should stop living in past

Have your say

IF all Yvette Cooper (The Yorkshire Post, June 18) has to
do is go on about what happened in the miners’ strike 30 years
ago, I am glad I did not vote
for her. Has she any idea how many police were injured doing a job that the Army should have done? Parliament is a bit like Morrisons – too many with nothing to do.

WITH reference to the letter from N Bywater (The Yorkshire Post, June 16) and the statement about children taking time off school for the wedding of their parents, it is surely a sign of our ever declining times. It used to be marriage first, children second.
