A man has been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Sheffield.
Steven Ray, 36, of Thornborough Road, Heeley, Sheffield, was arrested over the weekend in connection with the death of 29-year-old Rory Hemmings, from Woodhouse.
Ray went before magistrates in the city today and was remanded in custody until he appears at Sheffield Crown Court on December 15.
Emergency services were called to a property on Errington Crescent, Arbourthorne, on Sunday morning after Mr Hemmings was found injured.
He died a short time later and a post-mortem revealed that he had suffered a single stab wound to his chest.
A 27-year-old woman arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.
