The teenager, who had suffered what police are describing as a “nasty” stomach wound, was found in nearby Eleanor Street.

When police arrived, they were being treated by ambulance crews.

The 29-year-old was taken to Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales hospital, where he died. Specialist officers are supporting his family.

The 18-year-old is in a serious but stable condition at Hull Royal Infirmary.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and remains in police custody.

The area remains cordoned off today as enquiries continue.
