What was your first job?

I worked on the cheese counter in a large store. At the time I hated cheese and I told a customer this when she asked my advice. My supervisor promptly moved me onto the glove counter.

If you weren’t in your current position, what would you be doing?

I would live in the countryside and provide a retreat centre

What was your worst mistake?

My timing was out on two occasions with a bereaved family, as I tried to give them a beautiful card.

What’s you ideal day away from the office?

A picnic in the countryside away from the hustle & bustle of life and overlooking an amazing view of hills and trees.

Name one person you would like to have dinner with and why?

Ant & Dec to see if they are as nice and genuine as they appear.

What was your best subject at school?

Probably English. I loved creative writing.

What are your hobbies?

Photography, gardening, walking, voluntary work,

What would you do if you won the Lottery?

It would enable my voluntary work in Cambodia without the constant fund raising headache.

What’s your favourite time of day?

Early morning, when the birds are singing and the world outside is just starting to wake.

Friendly characters.

She was like a cracked pot holding a candle; imperfect, but her light shone through to enable others
