ROLAND Rudd (The Yorkshire Post, February 10) insults the intelligence and integrity of Yorkshire folk. Of course we realised that life maybe tough for a while but the future will be much brighter without the shackles of the EU.

Indeed, things are already looking up with the steel deal and McLaren investment in Sheffield.

Speaking for myself – I wouldn’t dare speak for all Yorkshire voters! – I voted principally for independence from an unelected government which superseded our own elected parliament. Clearly, Roland Rudd does not understand Yorkshire nor its people!

From: Don Wood, Howden.

AFTER reading the first three paragraphs of Roland Rudd’s article, it was obvious that it was either total nonsense or that this man does not know anything at all about the EU.

Only about five to six per cent of Britain’s businesses actually trade with the EU.

Mr Rudd is a PR man whose sole purpose in life is to convince the public that something is better than it actually is, or that it is something totally different to what it actually is. David Cameron was a PR man. Need I say more.
