WITH regard to Morrisons being branded the “UK’s worst shop”, I would very much disagree (The Yorkshire Post, May 13). I shop there every Saturday morning, the staff are helpful, the fishmongers will cut or fillet the fish just as you want it. The delicatessen staff are also all very helpful, as are the checkout staff.

When I was ill following operations and treatments, the supervisors always found someone to take and lift my goods into the car. This is the Selby branch I am talking about, what more could you ask for?

The survey was of 10,000 people and only 153 commented, what about the other 9,842? Had they never been in Morrisons?

Regarding the comment that “it would be good to see more of a range of household stuff”. They are first and foremost a grocers, suppliers of food and drink. They do have some pots, pans, towels and bedding, but if this is what you are looking for, then go to a major supplier.

THIS Morrisons survey vindicates your regular columnist Tom Richmond who has been a critic – little things do matter to a store’s reputation.

If a supermarket can’t supply a range of milk, what does it expect?
