MOTORISTS are facing long delays after a van overturned on the M62 near Huddersfield just before rush hour.
The incident on the eastbound carriageway took place between junction 24 and 25 just before 4.30pm today (October 20).
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the incident involved a silver Iveco panel van, which was believed to be towing a trailer carrying a dumper truck.
Three people inside the van are believed to be uninjured.
The incident has caused delays of around 30 minutes as at least two lanes have been blocked.
It’s the third incident in 24 hours on the M62.
A previous accident closed the eastbound carriageway between Rothwell and Tingley at lunchtime.
A blue Peugeot 207 and a white Mercedes articulated lorry collided at 12.18pm, causing the closure between Junctions 30 and 28.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the car was on its roof, but both the female driver and her passenger were not believed to be seriously injured.
It followed an earlier crash, westbound between junction 30 and 32.
