A 29-year-old man was hurt in a carjacking in Huddersfield.

The victim was sat in a white Peugeot 308 on Basil Street in Crosland Moor at about 1.40am on Tuesday when he was approached by two men.

One of them opened the driver’s door and demanded him to get out of the vehicle.

There was then an altercation and the victim was pulled out of the car, West Yorkshire Police said.

The suspects then climbed into the vehicle and the car drove off towards Everard Street.

The victim suffered soreness to his back in the incident.

The suspect who spoke to the victim was white and wearing a black hooded top and black bottoms.

The second male was wearing a grey hooded top with dark bottoms.
