Police investigating Doncaster arson attack want to trace four men

DETECTIVES investigating an arson attack on a tent in Doncaster that left a man and woman with extensive burns have named four men they are keen to trace and speak to in connection with the incident.

In the early hours of Tuesday August 18, a 42-year-old woman and 32-year-old man were in a tent on grassed area off College Road, between Rowland Place, St James Street and Trafford Way.

The tent was set on fire and the pair were reportedly assaulted as they tried to escape.

They were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries and have since been discharged.

Police are keen to trace Doncaster men Garry Beddoes, 28, Jason Vicarage, 22, Joel Harrison, 20, who police believe hold vital information that could assist with the investigation and are urging them to get in touch.

A 29-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the arson.

Both have been bailed pending further enquiries.
