Police name Hull cyclist killed in collision with truck

Mr Beharrell, of East Hull, was involved in a collision with a truck and sadly died at the scene.

His family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Mr Beharrell, an experienced cyclist, was riding along Hessle Road after travelling over Hessle flyover in the cycle lane in the direction of Hessle from East Hull.

He was wearing suitable cycle clothing and a helmet at the time of the collision.

Our enquiries are continuing into the circumstances of the collision and we are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, that has not already spoken to us, to call us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 92 of 17/07/17.
