POLITICIANS, of any ilk, do not live in the real world of hard work and trying to make ends meet.
They live their lives of privilege and affluence in their ivory towers, far removed from the reality of hard work and taxes. One ex-politician told me: “Politicians don’t pay taxes.”
They have ways and means of raking in the cash and keeping it.
My mother used to say “much wants more” but this is always at someone else’s expense.
The trouble is politicians could not care less about the someone else’s of this world, only about how much they can secure for themselves – the “I’m all right Jack” philosophy.
They all look extremely well groomed, again probably at our expense. Can anyone tell me what they do not claim on expenses?
One should never judge a book by its cover, there could be an awful lot of rubbish inside.
As an MEP, Ukip’s Nigel Farage claimed £2m of taxpayers’ money on expenses. They are all tarred with the same brush.
