Public defend Humberside Police after national newspaper claims dodgems break at Hull Fair 'sparked uproar'
The public have rallied behind Humberside Police after a national newspaper claimed there had been 'uproar' when officers took a ride on the dodgems at Hull Fair.
It reported that 18 officers who were patrolling the event had taken a break from duties, before quoting a number of people who complained on social media when they saw pictures.
