Quad bike stolen in Rotherham burglary

A quad bike was stolen during a burglary at a house in the Rawmarsh area of Rotherham at the weekend.

The incident is reported to have happened between 7.30pm on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday when entry was forced to a property on Haugh Road.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen the yellow quad bike with the registration FM55 WFH to contact them.

PC Paul Jameson, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “This incident has caused distress to the victims who have had their home invaded and property stolen and I would ask anyone who has any information that will allow us to retrieve the bike and return it to its rightful owner, to please get in touch.

“Burglary is an intrusive crime and where possible we will work to identify offenders and bring them before the courts.”
