SHEFFIELD United have completed the free transfer signing of West Ham winger Kyel Reid.

The first Sheffield derby of the season at Bramall Lane, has been brought forward to Friday, September 18, 7.45pm kick-off.

Leeds United manager Simon Grayson has played down talk that Northern Ireland striker Warren Feeney is set to sign for the club.

Grayson said: "I've spoken to 10 or 15 players and Warren Feeney is just one of them, but as it stands he won't be signing for Leeds United."

Leeds' trip to Southend United has been brought forward a day to Friday, September 11.

Rotherham United's home fixture against Rochdale has been put back 24 hours to Sunday, August 23.

Kyle Nix has left Bradford City for Blue Square Premier side Mansfield Town, where he has signed a two-year deal.

Watford have accepted a bid of 1.8m for striker Tommy Smith.

The Championship club have not revealed the identity of the 29-year-old's suitors after they made their move yesterday morning.
