Cocktail bar chain Revolucion de Cuba has announced plans to invest £1m in a prime town centre site.
The development on Parliament Street in Harrogate will see the creation of 60 news jobs and the transformation of the former Rehab nightclub premises.
Work is already underway at the site, with the venue expected to open in early October.
General Manager Will Kershaw said the decision to invest in Harrogate reflected the town’s rising reputation as a leading lifestyle destination in the North of England.
He said: “Harrogate is widely recognised as a vibrant and cosmopolitan town and this is reflected in its growing ability to attract considerable investment as it evolves.
“With so many new developments, including the imminent launch of a new cinema, we felt this was the perfect time to bring something a little bit different to the town.
Revolucion de Cuba already has a presence in Leeds and Sheffield.
