Search for missing 77-year-old Harrogate man extended to Leeds

Police believe a missing 77-year-old Harrogate man caught the bus to Leeds on the day he disappeared.

George Bass was reported missing by his wife on Wednesday morning.

North Yorkshire Police have released a CCTV image of Mr Bass at Harrogate bus station on the same day.

They believe he boarded a bus bound for Leeds at around noon.

As well as searching the Harrogate area, officers are also focusing their enquiries in the Leeds area and with the bus network.
