Three crashes in two hours left several people injured and caused traffic chaos in Leeds.

A teenage cyclist was injured in a collision with a bus on Abbeydale Way, in Kirkstall, at around 5pm. (June 27)

He was taken by ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary suffering from suspected head injuries.

Traffic was disrupted as Kirkstall Road was temporarily closed up to the junction of Hawksworth Road.

A woman was also injured a couple of hours earlier in a car crash near Sheepscar.

The road was closed temporarily and re-opened just after 5pm.

Another incident happened at around 5.10pm on Otley Old Road.
