A seven-seater bicycle has been taken on a test run around Yorkshire ahead of a 160-mile charity cycle.
Serial fundraiser Geoff Major, from Rothwell, Leeds, was joined by his fellow charity supporters on a test run on the Conference bike in York yesterday, as he and 24 others prepare to ride across Yorkshire and the north west from April 26.
The UK Mini Tour ride will see Geoff’s fundraising team travel from York, through Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester, Bolton and back over four days to raise money for Heart Research UK, Muscular Dystrophy and Disability Action Yorkshire.
Barbara Harpham, from Heart Research UK, said: “This mini tour and the events to follow will be some fantastic achievements, ones not to be taken lightly.”
In recent years Geoff has cycled across Cuba and trekked to the North Pole in aid of good causes. Visit www.morethanjustgiving.com.
