Teenage motorcyclist injured in Sheffield crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 16-year-old boy sustained serious injuries in a collision in Sheffield.

At around 1.20pm yesterday (Friday 22 May), it is reported that a blue Yamaha off road motorcycle and a car were involved in a collision in Herries Road.

The motorcyclist, a 16-year-old boy, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The car, which is believed to be a black Vauxhall Corsa, reportedly failed to stop at the scene.
