Three people were taken to hospital after crashes on roads in the Bradford area in the early hours of this morning.

Firefighters freed a man who was trapped after two cars collided near the Fleece Inn on Allerton Road, at 2.10am. He was taken to hospital.

Around 20 minutes later a man and woman were also trapped in the wreckage of their car after a single-vehicle accident near Silsden Roundabout, Aire Valley Road, Steeton with Eastburn.

The woman was unconscious when crews arrived, but she regained consciousness by the time they got her out.

Both were taken to hospital.
