Tickets are now on sale for events at next month’s Malton Food Lovers’ Festival which will feature Antonio Carluccio and Tom Parker-Bowles.
Entry to the producer stalls, beer festival and Market Place is completely free but visitors who want to experience some of the festival’s special events, including live cookery demonstrations, a new cookery school marquee, and book signings can buy tickets from its website at www.maltonfoodfestival.com.
The event takes place over the weekend of May 18-19. In the cookery theatre, Antonio Carluccio, Tom Parker-Bowles and the Prince of Wales’ personal chef Visen Anenden will be joined by a host of Yorkshire chefs cooking live on stage in the Milton Rooms.
Antonio Carluccio will also be doing a cookery lesson in the new Malton Cookery School marquee as well as cooking and hosting a charity gala dinner. In the interview tent, TV presenter and local resident Selina Scott will chat with the Italian chef and others.
Critic Jay Rayner will give a talk about his new book, A Greedy Man In A Hungry World, and there will be tutored taste workshops where visitors can try wine, champagne and whisky.
